TARTAN LOVER
Lodge Park
As soon as you step through the doors of the Lodge, you're whisked away to the ends of the earth, gripped by the wild and powerful spirit of the mountains. A place apart, where nature is present everywhere, in a raw, timeless elegance. Red and black are reflected on the walls, which are adorned with tartan, giving the hotel its warmth and clan spirit, starting with that of the Sibuet family. A warm fabric in natural colors that tells us it's time to set up camp. Walls lined with logs, sculptural redwood rooms, soft tan leather clubs awaiting their guests in front of the large fireplace adorned with large ice cream scoops, we let ourselves be enveloped in an instant by this wild elsewhere.
ALPINE FOREST
Les Fermes de Marie
Entering this spa is a little like entering the heart of a mountain forest. A place sheltered from the noise of the world, where nature is above all soothing and rejuvenating. Frosted river stones, ferns that cover the walls of the cabins with a haphazard vitality, moss, thick bark or birch trunks: the Pure Altitude spa combines all the fundamentals of the mountain with modernity. The spirit of the forest floats here, revisited in a very contemporary, raw interpretation.
MEGÈVE STYLE
Le Chalet du Skieur
Inspired by the architecture of Henri Jacques Le Même, the "Chalet du Skieur", built in 1939, is the quintessential Megève style. Modern and graphic, it offers a refuge where elegance is in perfect proportion. In this chalet, luxury is in the details, without ostentation. Decorated with beautifully crafted wood, fabrics with thick curls and a soft feel, vintage furniture and soft, velvety colors. A real cocoon of 200 m2, as convivial as you could wish. A nod to the flowery slopes that line the mountainsides in spring, the bathroom mixes retro floral motifs with graphic tiles.
POLAR SOFTNESS
Mont Blanc Hotel
Like a reminder of the immaculate whiteness of the peaks, the Mont-Blanc spa is entirely monochrome: painted granite walls, faux fur, you feel as if you're touching a glacier. Between softness and plenitude. White also covers the Mont-Blanc's lounges, where a 50s-60s vintage breeze blows in a way that's terribly well-assumed: Vallauris ceramics, bespoke furniture or vintage draped in white wool, the elegance is as mellow as it is sophisticated. The mountain is reinterpreted here in a couture style that's both chic and cozy, like the light-colored woodwork that adorns the walls and on which you can read phrases by Jean Cocteau, whose elegant aura still hovers here.
SAVOYARD FOLK
Le Vieux Megève
Le Vieux Megève perfectly encapsulates the charm of Savoyard folklore: a warm, rustic simplicity of simple furnishings, such as straw and wooden chairs, curtains with naïve, flowery motifs and mountain landscapes painted on small canvases or old photos. In fact, it's the heart of the mountain that beats here. A Megève landmark, this restaurant, a favorite with families including the Sibuets, cultivates a deliberately simple authenticity. A generous table that doesn't try to be sophisticated, in order to preserve folklore and tradition.
LIBERTY SPIRIT
Villa Marie Saint-Tropez
Villa Marie Saint-Tropez cultivates the soul of this legendary Mediterranean village with a retro-chic style. Like the summer lounges overlooking the Bay of Pampelonne, with their curved rattan and tangerine-orange-trimmed tables. As a counterpoint to the azure sky, the bathroom blends into a whiteness reminiscent of summer light. With its baroque headboard, sober, natural colors, Liberty fabrics in handmade linen paisley patterns and 18th-century furniture, Villa Marie Saint-Tropez freshly rewrites the spirit of romantic chic, the art of farniente and relaxed luxury.
PROVENCE CHINÉE
La Bastide de Marie
The decor of La Bastide de Marie elegantly and subtly reflects the codes of Provence, romantic and timeless, in a large 18th-century family home. The baroque sofas and armchairs in the large blue salon have been covered in denim, adding a touch of modernity while recounting the history of Provence, as it was in Nîmes that the famous canvas was invented. Every nook and cranny of La Bastide de Marie is an invitation to softness, whether in the materials, the objects gleaned or the furnishings. The rooms are no exception to the rule, enveloping you in furniture with a patina of age, paintings and prints, curtains and linen sheets. You'll want to touch these objects, all of which tell a story, like the old books with their slightly corroded pages and the patinated, sometimes cracked knick-knacks. After all, every object and piece of furniture chosen here has been hunted down on the markets of the South.
COLONIAL SUNSET
Gyp Sea Hotel
Fabrics and canopies in canary yellow, fuchsia pink or turquoise, chandeliers woven with small shells and beautiful furniture trimmed in black, or when rococo flirts with the Tropics in relaxed luxury. Decorative pieces adorned with seashells, coral sculptures, small objects in the shape of exotic fruits and birds or decorated with mother-of-pearl and rattan furniture caracolate in this boutique-hotel, synonymous with colorful tropical elegance. At Gyp Sea Hotel, everything is an excuse to celebrate the Caribbean, right down to the gardens, with their lush greenery and flamboyant colors.
ETHNIC PINK
Gyp Sea Beach Houses
In these luxury cottages, handcrafted furniture in large, brutalist shapes, beautifully embroidered, chamarré fabrics in spectacular headboards, brightly-colored carpets and original works by artists all come together. Large rough-hewn armchairs decorated with pearls or straw, furniture in rope or rattan, paintings and lighting fixtures as a nod to exotic flora and fauna, each cottage reinvents the art of living on this island paradise with gaiety and lightness. The influence of the world's cultures can be felt in these tropical-bohemian cottages, where handicrafts, color and naive motifs create a decor that invites you to relax and stroll with your feet in the sand.
