Bathed in sea spray and the scent of roses and orange blossom, Villa Marie Saint-Tropez stretches across the heights of Pampelonne Bay, shaded by towering umbrella pines and cypress trees. A tropézien boutique-hotel with an exquisite decor, between coral and tangerine, where lovers slip away to dazzle in the beauty of the South. From the romantic and colorful rooms, the hanging gardens, the pool and terraces with their blue backdrops, the pools reflecting the sky and the solar cuisine.

9h00

From the terrace of my room, I savor the calm of the pine forest, under the caress of the first rays of sunshine, and a divine homemade breakfast. It's a feeling of absolute tranquillity, deliciously disturbed by the song of the cicadas.

11h00

I walk through the gardens, which are filled with the scent of the South, down to the pool overlooking the bay. Lying on a deckchair in the shade of an elegant terracotta parasol, I pick up the thread of my novel, my gaze wandering between Cap Taillat and Cap Camarat. I'm going to try this summer fruit iced tea.

13h00

The cicadas are singing at the top of their voices, and I really don't want to stray far from this lagoon-blue pool where I can feel the sea air rising. I take a lunch break by the water. Quinoa salad with Mediterranean crab, citrus fruit, avocado and garden herbs. And for my second half, it'll be the catch of the day and grilled vegetables, please.

14h00

Seduced by the idea of a siesta, I cross the living rooms of the cactus greenhouse, which remain cool despite the summer, and join my beloved and my gold-accented four-poster bed. I doze off, gazing at the beautiful eighteenth-century furniture and gaudy fabrics that light up the room.

16h00

How about a trip to Saint-Tropez? I've spotted a lovely boutique and want to stroll past the oversized yachts sipping a drink on the Sénéquier terrace. Can the Mehari drop us off there in 10 minutes? Perfect, just enough time to change.

19h00

Just in time for the aperitif. On the terrace with its wrought-iron furniture, comfortably curled up in a large mandarin cushion, I fall for a Provençal, a subtle combination of Oli'vodka, distilled in the lands of Provence, and pear, lemon and tonic juice. What's it with? A 12/12 pastis tropézien!

21h00

Cool air rises from the bay to envelop the terrace as the sun sinks into the water. Under the wisteria and soon under the stars, we rediscover the flavors of Provence and the sea with a yellowtail with citrus fruits and osciètre caviar, and a Bourride de la mer with grilled vegetables and Menton lemon aioli. Perfect happiness.

23h00

Already! I don't know whether to glide off into the night and dance in a glittering jet-set club in Saint-Tropez or stay here and lover...
