Some whisper while others read or doze, lulled by the soothing, refreshing song of the water and the warmer song of the cicadas. Here, you can enjoy the shade of the immense pines and the view of green, blue and terracotta over the Bay of Pampelonne, with a delicious sense of privilege. Half-lounging on a deckchair by the bean-shaped pool, we daydream about Grace Kelly in the white skirt and summer cape she wore over her swimsuit just before going for a swim. And we tell ourselves it's time to bring down the temperature of this hot day by sipping a Lavender Fever, Gin-Tropez with notes of lavender, Saint-Germain liqueur with elderflower and violet syrup lengthened with tonic. Or a coveted Frozen Rosé, which combines rosé from Domaine de Marie with melon liqueur, lemon juice and strawberry purée, all with lots of crushed ice.
Villa Marie Saint-Tropez cultivates accents of the Italian Riviera and a chic, romantic decor, combining Italian ochre and tonal or pastel colors, antique objects, seashell frescoes and beautiful 18th-century furniture: elaborately carved wooden headboards, meridiennes, consoles, canopy beds...A jewel of a boutique-hotel, totally timeless.
Already time for dinner? Step out onto the terrace, with its refined vintage furniture in wrought iron and curved rattan, before settling down on the elegant veranda with its timeless Florentine orangery decor and ornate coral and black-and-white furniture, or simply under the wisteria, with your head in the stars.
