Opened in 1944 by the Roc family, this grocery store, now run for the past four years by the Sibuet family, is the ideal place to stock up on sweet and savory delights gleaned from all over the Alps, Savoie and Italy of course, as well as carefully selected wines and spirits, and dishes lovingly concocted here by the Maisons et Hôtels Sibuet, who revisit and reinvent family and mountain recipes with perfect products and pairings.
Beaufort shortbread
Beaufort shortbread is the perfect combination of a homemade pastry that melts in the mouth and an exceptional summer Beaufort, rich in flavor and aromatic herbs, thanks to the milk of cows that have taken full advantage of the alpine pastures under the summer sun.
Foie gras terrine
The foie gras terrine, an absolute must. Prepared in duo with Fermes de Marie sommelier Franck Bernet, foie gras is marinated in ice wine, then flavored with 7 spices before being gently cooked and served rosé.
Pâté en croûte
The pâté en croûte, simply stunning, is prepared here from carefully selected local poultry and meats, then seasoned with a reduction of fir buds, wild mushrooms and alpine garden powders, before being gently baked in its own homemade pastry.
Pebble soup
Inspired by the famous soup of the peddlers who roamed the Alps and reinvented by the Sibuet family, Pebble Soup is an ultra-comforting peasant soup in which seasonal root vegetables grown nearby are simmered on a pebble base to prevent burning.
Summer strawberry
The summer strawberry, tender and airy with its infinitely light vanilla buttercream and fresh, sweet strawberries picked in the Luberon, can be enjoyed alone or accompanied. We recommend it on its own...
