Revamped under the pastel eye of Franck Lebraly, who scatters his sunny, colorful and naïve frescoes in fine hotels, restaurants and other fine addresses, notably in Paris and on the Riviera, the S unfurls a cozy decor that celebrates the mountains, echoing the spirit of Maisons & Hotels Sibuet. An arty, roguish wine and cocktail bar perfect for late-night dining.
Franck Lebraly grew up in sunny Cannes. With a grandfather who was a painter of letters, another a cabinetmaker and a father who restored antiques, he had no choice but to turn to the arts, in this case applied arts. Passionate about drawing and painting, he long put aside his brushes to pursue a career as an art director in advertising. Until he returned to his first love, the Covid crisis having decided him to set course for the arts and the Mediterranean. A return to his roots, to drawing and ceramics, but also to elegant simplicity, a value dear to both Franck Lebraly and the Sibuet family. At S, he ventured into the mountains, which he sublimates with pastels in soft, autumnal colors.
A decor adorned with blond wood and plush banquettes, where you can savour fine wines at aperitif time, with a wine list of some 300 references, as well as exceptional flacons. Unless you prefer to sip cocktails that follow the seasons and the inspiration of the tender bar. All of these carefully measured beverages are accompanied by gourmet nibbles lovingly selected from the surrounding peaks: tasty charcuterie, fruity, soft, creamy cheeses, melt-in-the-mouth croque-monsieur... And don't forget that you can also dance here every weekend, to the sound of inspired DJ sets.
