L'Alpage des Fermes est une table d'hôtes située à 1 800 m d'altitude au-dessus de Megève, réservée aux hôtes des Fermes de Marie et des Chalets des Fermes. Ouverte en été et à l'automne, elle est accessible à pied depuis le téléphérique de Rochebrune, ou en 4x4.
Face au col du Véry, au mont Charvin et aux Aravis, on y sert un buffet et un barbecue de montagne (soupe au Caillou, pâtés en croûte, truite de torrent, desserts maison). Le lieu peut être privatisé pour des événements.
Authentic charm
Open only in summer and fall, seasons when the mountains shed their white coat in favor of every other color, the Alpage des Fermes promises a beautiful getaway. Firstly, because it can be reached on foot from the Rochebrune cable car via a bucolic walk where you can see Mont Blanc, following the ridges and crossing fields and forests before walking along the green slopes. A walk to enjoy the fresh air and calm, but also to admire nature, as you may encounter chamois and marmots, although some people can get here by 4x4.

Facing the Cirque du Véry, Mont Charvin, and the Aravis mountains, you'll be transported, eyes wide open, from a buffet to a mountain barbecue, where polenta sticks, Caillou soup, homemade pâtés en croûte, hand-cut mountain ham, and trout from the streams seasoned with Alpine salt and herbs are on display.And of course, a medley of desserts as tender as a childhood memory: clafoutis, wild berry soup, blueberry and rhubarb tarts...
