Authentic charm
Open only in summer and fall, seasons when the mountains shed their white coat in favor of every other color, the Alpage des Fermes promises a beautiful getaway. Firstly, because it can be reached on foot from the Rochebrune cable car via a bucolic walk where you can see Mont Blanc, following the ridges and crossing fields and forests before walking along the green slopes. A walk to enjoy the fresh air and calm, but also to admire nature, as you may encounter chamois and marmots, although some people can get here by 4x4.

A tailor-made table d'hôte
The timing is perfect to whet your appetite as soon as you arrive at this charming wooden chalet, weathered by the seasons and the years, where old wooden chests and hay racks stand side by side, and a large table covered with red and white checkered tablecloths overflowing with gourmet delicacies awaits you. Facing the Cirque du Véry, Mont Charvin, and the Aravis mountains, you'll be transported, eyes wide open, from a buffet to a mountain barbecue, where polenta sticks, Caillou soup, homemade pâtés en croûte, hand-cut mountain ham, and trout from the streams seasoned with Alpine salt and herbs are on display. And of course, a medley of desserts as tender as a childhood memory: clafoutis, wild berry soup, blueberry and rhubarb tarts... An absolutely magical table d'hôte in the heart of nature that can be privatized, if you're lucky, for an exceptional moment, with each event organized according to the guests' wishes.
