The magical Table d'hôtes of Les Fermes de Marie
Housed in an old farmhouse, a witness to a past when men used to go up to the mountain pastures to graze their herds and make cheese in the summer months, the building has kept all its old-fashioned charm: old trunks, hay racks, wooden floors and walls covered with ancelles, wooden tiles that have weathered over time.
After taking a seat on the terrace, in front of a large table covered with a red and white checkered tablecloth, one sips an aperitif imagined by Jocelyne Sibuet based on rosé wine and raspberry liqueur, facing the breathtaking landscape. Then we enjoy a copious buffet followed by a barbecue. The beautiful Savoyard products are of course honoured: crozets from Tarentaise, creamy polenta, mountain ham cut with a knife and trout from the torrent with Alpine salt and herbs from the Tour... For the sweet, you can enjoy without moderation the blueberry and rhubarb pie, the wild berry soup or the home-made clafoutis.
